What's it all about?
Hilton Harvest Community Garden was initiated in 2009 by a group of residents living in Hilton, Western Australia in conjunction with The Meeting Place - a local community centre.
The project has evolved into a thriving community gardening for all Hilton residents. It now includes A community garden including around 20 garden beds, a large asparagus patch, orchard and chooks. The chookship was built using earthship technology. We also have a compost shelter and storage sheds.
The garden is run by volunteers and everyone is welcome any time. We run busy bees on the second Sunday of each month.
